Mt Sherman Summit Markers to commemorate your hike.

     Mount Sherman is a 14,036 ft peak in  Colorado. It is located in the Mosquito Rangee, approximately eight miles south of Mount Lincolnn. It lies on the border between Lake and Park County, approximately seven miles east-southeast of Leadville. It ranks 45th among the 14ers of Colroado.
     Mount Sherman is one of the most nondescript of the fourteeners, and one of the easiest to climb; it is recommended as a beginner fourteener. It is also the only fourteener that has had a successful aircraft landing on its summit. It serves as a great training mountain for those inclined to summit more difficult mountains.
