Mount Democrat is a fourteener in the U.S. state of Colorado, located approximately 1 mile (1.6 km) west of Mount Lincoln, in the Mosquito Range.  It is the 28th highest of the 14ers in Colorado. It lies in northeastern Lake County and northwestern Park County, about 2 miles southeast of the town of Climax. It is often climbed together with Mount Lincoln and nearby Mount Bross.^[3]

 With this summit you can bag 3 summits in one day. Depending on the time of yer this is an easy hike to complete all thre in one day.  Mt. Bross is currently still private so it is important to respect the hike on this peak to keep it open for the future.
